AI and transparency
Last updated: August 2026
To ensure transparency under the EU AI Act (Regulation EU 2024/1689), we disclose that select visual assets, graphics, and animated sequences across this digital platform have been generated or enhanced using generative AI tools under strict human editorial oversight.
1. Visual assets and animations
Select imagery, graphic components, and animated sequences deployed across this digital interface have been generated, co-created, or enhanced utilising advanced Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools.
2. Editorial and human oversight
Every synthetic asset, background graphic, and dynamic animation undergoes rigorous human editorial review, refinement, and curation before publishing. AI is utilised strictly as a production capability tool to execute proprietary design concepts. We maintain full legal ownership and responsibility over the finalised outputs.
3. Digital provenance
Where technologically applicable, our exported visual assets retain embedded machine readable metadata and digital watermarks to support international standards of content provenance and transparency.
4. Where AI is not used
The reflection method, the questions in the self check and the way results are worded are written by people and grounded in published research. No generative model decides your result and no model produces clinical advice.
5. Automated interaction
Any automated assistant or dynamic form on this site identifies itself as automated in its first line, in line with Article 50 of the AI Act. You always know when you are not talking to a person.
6. Accountability and labelling
Editorial responsibility sits with a named person, not a system. On Story / Developed by Wafaa Albadry. Images and animations produced with generative assistance carry a discreet AI assist marker, visible on hover and recorded in the asset description for assistive technology.
